Flip-It Friday

Today I made pikelets with Lauren, Emma H, and Sophia. We all took turns mixing and pouring the ingredients. The batter was chunky but we kept adding milk and it got to the right consistency. Lauren flipped the pikelets and it smelt good. Then they were ready to get eaten.

I learned how to bake. And helped out. The pikelets' taste was yum. It was hard to make the pikelets and my partners were Kiani and Kyiesha.

Caprice

Today we made pikelets. They tasted so good but my big one was not ready to eat. It tasted like watery dough😢. It was a bit hard to flip the pikelets but luckily we had a pro pikelet flipper Lauren. We put one cup of flour, a cup of milk, a pinch of salt, and a cup of sugar😄.

Sophia

Today we made pikelets for Flip-It-Friday. I was in a group with Alex and George. I was the expert in the team. Alex was the second best-experienced person, George had no experience at all, so we had to help him out a bit. At the end, George put way too much golden syrup on his pikelets. The pikelets were so yum. I think that we did a good job.

Harper Patterson

Today was Flip It Friday and we made pikelets. We all had to be in a group of three and I was with Caprice and Kyiesha and we did a great job with the pikelets. When I did my pikelets they were a little bit soft but they were fine and I put too much maple syrup, it was still amazing though. But this is the best part of the day.

This day has been great. I was with Ayla and Charlotte. It was way different than cooking at home. It tasted good. I tried one with maple syrup on it. It tasted yuck. The process was good, it was weird too (a bit messy and a lot weird).

Charlie

It was the first time I made pikelets in my life. It was really fun for my first time making pikelets ever. The steps making pikelets were challenging at first, little step by step it got easier. The pikelets tasted amazing. It was the best pikelets I've had in my life.

Me, Sonny, and Luke made the most amazing pikelets ever. We felt really great about our baking and pikelets. The taste was really really fluffy and yummy.

For Flip It Friday we made pikelets they were extremely good. I was in a group with my two friends, Harper and George. When we sivd in the flour it looked like snow falling from the sky.Harper was really good at making pikelets he was an expert at whisking unlike me and George.at the end we had our delicious pikelets George put on way to much maple syrup.
