Bikes creaking along the path.
Intersections everywhere we go.
Kids having the time of their lives.
Entering the rugby club.
Doing our quick bike checks.
Anywhere I go I’ve got a smile on my face.
Yawning after the big day.

The first step was checking the bike parts.
Step 2 was doing obstacles with fingers on brakes in a square.
Step 3 was using hand signals right and left.
Step 4 was putting your butt back while gliding and stopping when told. We also had fingers on both brakes to stop.
Step 5 was biking to an intersection, listening and talking about roads then we went to the rugby club and then we went up a big hill then down riding back to the school.

Today we had the Kids Can Ride Team come and teach us about the road
and how to use our bikes properly. We played cat and mouse on our bikes. It
was very hard because we all crashed into each other which was annoying
because when the cat came to tag us we all got tagged at the same time.
There were 3 teams and we all went down Snodgrass Road halfway and
then went down Tangitu Rd just up the top of the Te Puna Clubrooms. Our
leaders were Lea and Paula.
