Kia ora Rūma 12,
Hope you enjoyed some lovely weather over the weekend in your bubble.
I know we have a range of different levels of engagement with content - some are all sorted with non-digital home learning, some will want parts of this and some of you may want it all or even more.
I encourage you to do some kind of reading and writing daily, as well as some basic facts or the daily maintenance slides just to keep the maths brain ticking over.
I am going to TPS today to sort some devices for those of you who have requested through Mr. Towersey's form.
Literacy - this doc is available through your school account. I will tweak this document and add more detail as the week goes on. there are planned writing sessions included. However, if you would rather keep a diary and add an entry each day I am happy with that. Or if you are feeling creative and would like to create your own stories go for it. Just aim to reread out loud as you go to check it is making sense and you are using punctuation correctly - capital letters for the beginning of sentences, names, and places.
Maths - weekly maths has been shared through Google Classroom. Also, we have our basic facts test coming up in September so now is a great time to practise your quick recall - here are the practise sheets (we get 6min 30sec to answer 100).
I am aiming to host a class google meet at 11am daily for anyone who would like to discuss their learning. Bring along any questions, we can discuss and plan our writing or keep in touch on how things are in our bubbles. (I am flexible with this if there is a better time or if you'd like a 1 on 1)
Finished - here is the fast finisher slide we use in class if you are stuck for ideas.
