Swimming

During our swimming session, everyone is expected to swim. First we get in the pool safely. The girls go first and are on the fence side. The boys go second and are beside the changing shed. We then swim from the deep end to the shallow end and walk or swim up by the wall to get back for our next length.

             Our swimming expectations:

  •  Don't splash the teacher or anyone dry

  •  Keep your voice down

  •  Listen or you will have to get out of the pool

    What we do at swimming:

  •     3 lengths breaststroke

  •     3 lengths backstroke

  •    3 lengths freestyle

  •    And we get to do three lengths of anything we want

  •     And we sometimes are allowed free time

The strokes we are allowed to do are:
  •    First breaststroke

  •    Then backstroke

  •    Third freestyle

  •    Fourth anything you want

              Free time rules

  • Keep your voice down (again)

  • Don’t climb on anyone

  •    If someone says ‘Stop’ - stop

  •    Be mindful of working classrooms

  •    You can get out if you want
